Consent Agenda

  • Direct the Chairman to write to the UC Santa Cruz Chancellor urging her to extend the Scoping Period for the draft Long Range Development Plan (LRDP) Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and to hold an additional on-campus public meeting during the Spring Quarter in order for students to participate in the EIR process; and direct the County Planning Director to provide our Board with a copy of the County’s comments on the LRDP EIR submitted during the Scoping Period, as recommended by Supervisor Coonerty.
  • Schedule a public hearing on May 12, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. or thereafter, to consider a resolution regarding FY 2020-21 sewer service fees for CSA 7 Boulder Creek, and take related actions, as recommended by the Deputy CAO/Director of Public Works.
  • Schedule a public hearing on May 12, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. or thereafter, to consider a resolution related to FY 2020-21 fees for CSA 20 Trestle Beach sewer service charges, and take related actions, as recommended by the Deputy CAO/Director of Public Works.
  • Defer to on or before June 2, 2020, award of a shared-mobility services vendor contract and associated ordinance amendments, as recommended by the Deputy CAO/Director of Public Works.
  • AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE FREEDOM COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT: Schedule a public hearing on May 12, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. or thereafter, to consider an ordinance amending Title 3, Chapter 3.08, Article III of the District Code regarding fees for Freedom County Sanitation District Fiscal Year 2020-21 sewer service charges, and take related actions, as recommended by the District Engineer.
  • AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE DAVENPORT COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT: Schedule a public hearing on May 12, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. or thereafter, to consider an ordinance amending the District Code for Davenport County Sanitation District Fiscal Year 2020-21 water and sewer service charges, and take related actions, as recommended by the District Engineer.

Regular Agenda

  • Consider report on the existence of a local health emergency, adopt resolution ratifying and extending Declaration of Local Health Emergency by the County Health Officer due to the imminent threat to public health from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), adopt resolution ratifying Proclamation of a Local Emergency related to COVID-19, and take related actions, as outlined in the memorandum of the County Administrative Officer.

  • Continued public hearing to consider resolution amending the General Plan/Local Coastal Program Public Safety Element and Conservation and Open Space Element and certifying CEQA Negative Declaration determination and to consider four Ordinances to amend Santa Cruz County Code Chapters 16.10 Geologic Hazards, 16.20 Grading Regulations, and 16.22 Erosion Control, and adopt new Chapter 16.13 Floodplain Regulations, as outlined in the memorandum of the Planning Director (deferred from January 28 to March 10, 2020).

  • 5630 Soquel Dr., Soquel – Proposal to demolish an existing church (Inner Light Ministries) and associated structures and construct a new 85,447 square foot three-story assisted living facility with 82 units (89 beds) and transfer approximately 20,000 square feet of land from APN 037-191-15 to 037-191-14. Project requires a Commercial Development Permit, Master Site Plan, Lot Line Adjustment, Riparian Exception, and adoption of a mitigated negative declaration per the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). 
  • Public Hearing to consider the 2019 Annual General Plan Report.
